Self-leadership: The power behind empowerment

With the growth of start-ups and small businesses, organizations as well their employees need to adapt new structures, processes, all in higher complexity. Digitization decentralization foster for leadership approaches. Entrepreneurs “let go” give autonomy followers while supporting them use this freedom effectively. It is assumed that flexibility organization individual goal achievement increase when perceive autonomy. However, must be accompanied by development support, possible, self-leadership skills first present at level entrepreneurs before they can exemplify followers. The results clarify both support are positively related skills. Findings also highlight impact indicating it achievement.
